Bipolar and work: Training for employers

We provide training to help everyone understand bipolar in the workplace. We also support team members affected by bipolar.

We provide various training options. These options will help you and your team create an inclusive workspace.

This programme is beneficial for employers, HR professionals, diversity officers and employees.

We offer various types and levels of support for understanding bipolar at work:

Understanding bipolar: 1-hour online training

What the session includes: This training provides a foundational knowledge of bipolar, including symptom recognition –such as mania, hypomania, depression and rapid cycling – as well as guidance on straightforward solutions, resources and support systems.

The session includes a speaker with lived experience and an opportunity for questions.

Suitable for: Up to 16 employers and employees

Cost: £550

Understanding bipolar and support in the workplace: 2-hour online training

What the session includes: This course expands on the ‘Understanding bipolar’ training with extra content. It focuses on how to better support someone with bipolar in the workplace. This includes implementing reasonable adjustments for bipolar, advance statements, employment benefits and more.

The session will feature a speaker who has personal experience. Time for questions will be available. You will also receive workplace templates and resources to take home.

Suitable for: Up to 16 employers and employees

Cost: £1050

Mentoring support: 1-hour tailored consultancy

What this session includes: We can provide personalised peer support for one or two people affected by bipolar in your workplace. We will offer a safe and private space where they can ask

questions, get practical advice and discuss any issues or concerns with someone who truly understands.

Suitable for: one or two individuals impacted by bipolar at work
