- Organise an activity for World Bipolar Day (30 March) – Whether it’s a walk, an event, or an awareness-raising stall, your club can play a crucial role in educating your local community.
- Take Bipolar UK’s free eLearning course to better understand the condition and how to support those affected.
- Signpost to Bipolar UK’s free peer support services by distributing leaflets in your community, including GP practices, hospitals, colleges, and public noticeboards.

Rotary's Health Fair
Bipolar UK featured at Rotary’s Health Fair on the 1 April 2023. Speakers included Internationally-acclaimed songwriter, Nicky Chinn who lives with bipolar, Lorna Morgan-Glanfield – Bipolar UK’s Strategic Partnership Manager and Judith Pratt -Rotary Cluster Champion for the Rotary Bipolar UK partnership.

Rotary InFocus ‘Staying well with bipolar’
On Wednesday 14 December, Bipolar UK were the feature of Rotary’s ‘In Focus’ session. We discussed the impact of bipolar and how Rotary members can support Bipolar UK’s vital work.
Guest speakers included:
- Guy Goodwin, Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at Oxford University and world-expert on bipolar
- Leah Milner, an award-winning consumer, money and property journalist with lived-experience of bipolar
- Simon Kitchen, CEO Bipolar UK, talking about the work of Bipolar UK and how Rotary members can get involved

We were delighted to be joined by Rotary at our parliamentary reception to launch the Bipolar Commission report. Nicki Scott - Rotary International Vice President 2022-23 and Rotary International Director 2021-23, spoke about the potential of our exciting new partnership. Also attending were; Garth Arnold, Robert Morris, Eve Conway, Cheryle Berry, Selwyn Foreman and Judith Pratt.

Rotary created this video pledging their support for quicker diagnosis and specialist treatment and support for everyone with bipolar.

Bipolar UK hosted a stand at Rotary’s Volunteer Expo at the NEC in May 2022. The team spent an enjoyable two days sharing information and ideas with hundreds of Rotarians, including former Rotary International President Elect (2022-23) and Bipolar UK Ambassador, Gordon McInally.
